Structure&Characteristics
The Drillable Bridge Plug is composed of a central pipe, an upper cone, a lower cone, an upper slip, a lower slip, a rubber cylinder, an anti protruding ring, a tension rod, a locking ring, etc.
This bridge plug has the following characteristics:
I. Simple structure, fast lowering speed, cable or hydraulic setting can be used;
II.Double slip structure is adopted with opposite tooth directions to realize bidirectional locking of bridge plug, so as to maintain the setting load and ensure good sealing due to pressure change;
III.Ductile iron casting structure is easy to drill out;
IV.The construction process is few, the period is short, and the clamping position is accurate. Especially when the plugging section is deep and the interlayer is very thin, it has obvious advantages.
Working Principle
Connect the drillable bridge plug to the lower end of the hydraulic setting tool, connect the hydraulic setting tool to the pipe string, lower it to the downhole design position, and put the steel ball into the pipe string. After the steel ball reaches the sealing surface of the diverter switch on the upper part of the hydraulic setting tool, apply hydraulic pressure to the oil pipe through the cement truck. When the pressure difference reaches 5MPa, 10MPa and 16MPa, maintain the pressure for 5min and continue to apply hydraulic pressure. When the pressure suddenly drops to 0, the drillable bridge plug is set, Then put forward the hydraulic setting tool.The bridge plug is drilled and ground by running milling tools into the well to realize unsealing.
Matters Needing Attention
I.Before the tool is lowered to the design position, it is not allowed to throw a ball, so as to backwash the well when it is blocked halfway.
II.The tools shall not be collided during transportation and shall be placed in a straight manner during storage.
III.Moisture and corrosion resistance.
