Introduction:

The Sharp Razor Charger is designed to induce a strong magnetic charge into bar type string magnets. The chargers ensure maximum charging efficiencies with ease of operation and long-life durability. It is able to do big charging jobs with small electrical service. And it is quick and eas with Sharp Razor's control console. The Magnet Charger can be used to magnetize magnets up to 20-inches O.D. There is no limit to the number of times a magnet can be recharged. The Sharp Razor Magnet Charger includes a Power Supply Unit and Magnetizing Coil Unit. The solid state Power Supply Unit converts alternating current input into short pulse, high-peak direct current output to the Magnetizing Coil.

Operation:

The magnet is placed in the Magnetizing Coil and locked into place by means of adjustable arms which are a part of the magnetic circuit. A push of the button on the Power Supply Unit starts the magnetizing cycle, which automatically shuts off after the short interval of time required to reach peak magnetizing force. The Sharp Razor Magnet Charger can be used to magnetize fishing magnets up to 14- and 20- inch outside diameters.

NOTE: A gauss meter reads the strength of a charge. Strength does not vary with of the size of the magnet. Lifting capacity is a function of size, contact area, and charge.
